The 6th IIAS Autumn Archival School was held between October 21st and 28th 2012 in Trieste, Italy.
Lectures, held by Italian and foreign specialists, were covering topics discussed also at the 22nd International Archival Day:
– modern archive buildings,
– Mmanagement of records in the new media.
Historical premises of the ICTP were left in favor of the ISI classrooms at the University of Trieste and the State Archives of Trieste.
In view of the celebrations of the centennial of the outbreak of World War 1, to be held in 2014, the young archivists attending the course were asked to indicate which sources on the topic exist  in their own archives.
As usual, participation is upon invitation of the IIAS Executive Board.
