The 5th edition of the IIAS Autumn Archival School will take place at the Adriatico Hotel in Grignano near trieste (seat of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics “Abdus Salam”) from November 7th to 12nd, gathering young archivists coming from European and non-European countries. Lectures will be given by high professionals coming from all over the world, focusing on the same topics of the 21st IIAS International Archival Day: 1) archives in modern society (role, development, future), and 2) European projects on archives. Moreover, this year the School will host a special course on the free downloadable software AtoM developed by the International Council on Archives. The participation in the School is by invitation of the IIAS Executive Board.
