Also in 2008, the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics will host at the Hotel Adriatico in Grignano (Trieste) the IIAS Autumn Archival School, to be held from November 16th to 23rd. The topics to be discussed will be the valorisation of the archives and the safety and security in the archives; the same topics will also be debated during the 18th International Archival Day, intended also as a natural conclusion of the School. Moreover, during the School the drawing of the IIAS Short Dictionary of Archival Terminology will be continued, both by lecturers and participants.
Also this year, the event was made possible by the combined financial efforts of the Italian Ministy for Cultural Goods and Activities and the Central European Initiative.
