On October 20th and 21st, archivists from various parts of the world will gather for the 24th International Archival Day. They will be hosted in the prestigious and proven conference room at NH Hoteles (Corso Cavour, 7 – Trieste). The topics, decided last year by the Members of IIAS, which will be discussed and debated are: Archives: political power: civil society (archives and human rights – access and legal requirements, i.e.: data protection, copyright – advocacy and outreach – education). The Congress, as usual, is an integral part of the 8th edition of the IIAS Autumn Archival School, that will continue until Friday, October 25th.
